I’m Alex Simon. This is my story.
On December 13, 1992, I found myself nearly dead under a palm tree in Waikiki Beach in Hawaii.
I had survived what many at the time thought impossible: I ran an entire marathon (yep, every inch of 26.2 miles) without any training. Feet blistered, nipples chaffed, legs numb, I crossed the finish line in a little over 5 hours.
As I lay there contemplating what had just happened, I realized that we (yes, that includes you!) are capable of so much more than we ever imagined possible.
And by more, I mean much, much more!
I quickly discovered that I was meant for more and that the Universe wanted me to have more.
Since then, I’ve been pushing my limits in every way I can: physically (I’m an Ironman triathlete), mentally, professionally (more on that later), in relationships (my wife is way out of my league), you name it.
I’ve had some of the most amazing experiences a person can have:
I was a professional boxing promoter in my 20s, have visited 20+ countries, wrote a weekly column for ESPN (and English is my second language), became an Indycar (Indy 500) executive and talent agent in my late 30s, became an Ironman triathlete at 46, was bankrupt in my 40s, play tennis with my childhood heroes, purposely got my ass kicked (and ribs broken) by a boxing world champion, have visited over 21 countries and now own two million dollar companies with the love of my life.
Life is incredible – sometimes painful – but always exciting!
I can say, without a doubt, that everything I’ve gotten in life – good or bad – was due to my mindset at the time.
That’s the key word that defines success or failure: mindset.
Think you can do something; you’re right. Think you can’t do something; you’re also right.
In order to succeed, then, I needed a mindset that served my wants.
I developed an unlimited mindset.
This mindset allows me to identify my existing limiting beliefs and all the other crap my subconscious mind has been fed since childhood and then replace them with beliefs that help me get what I want.
Anything I want.
So, what does all of this have to do with you?
Everything that happens to you, good or bad, is a result of your mindset, or your beliefs.
Change your beliefs, get the right mindset and you can change your life.
Everything you could ever want is right there, ripe for the taking.
My wife, Stephanie, and I run a talent agency together. A couple years ago she wanted to build a new house.
We needed money.
I used my “financial abundance” mindset to manifest money and started a side business (or “side hustle”) as they call it these days.
That’s right. This is on the side from my full-time (still only 3-4 hours a day) job.
I spend less than two hours a month on my side hustle.
I’m my own boss. I make the rules. I make my schedule. I work when I want. I answer to no one.
Because I believe I can. That’s all.
I have an unwavering, unflappable, unstoppable belief in myself.
I tell myself what I want, I visualize it, I set my intent, I align my conscious and subconscious minds and, like magic, it happens.
In my spare time – despite all the businesses I’m involved in – I still have time to train for triathlons. That’s 3 to 5 hours a day I spend swimming, cycling or running.
And, when I’m not doing triathlons, I’m playing tennis with my childhood heroes (yep, that’s me and Andre Agassi after a set).
Or traveling around the world.
Yes, life is finally epic.
Being free is epic.
In this new chapter of my life, I’m sharing my experiences and how you can develop a mindset and a belief system that will get you what you want – more money, better jobs, health, loving relationships, whatever.
Best of all, the secret to your happiness lies inside of you. It’s not in material things or anything outside of your control.
You, and only you, can control your destiny.
If you can learn something on here that will help you make more money, suffer less, get “unstuck” or find your purpose in life, then awesome!
